I've gone to many grocery stores before, but for some reason I keep going back to Aldi's. They have great prices! If you're going to get your essential then this is the place!! So start making your list, now!
Little tidbit, when you go make sure you have a quarter. They have a system where you put in a quarter into the system on the cart. Once you put your quarter in then you get your cart! Don't worry you'll get your quarter back later!! ;)
Also, make sure that you also bring your reuseable bags. They don't use plastic bags. I wish every grocery store was like this. We would use so much less plastic this way.
Once you're in, all of their products are great!! They have a lot of new breads. Apparently some stores have a large bakery, IN STORE! How cool is that? They have an organic produce section. Their meats and cheese section is pretty awesome!! You can't go wrong here!! I try to stay on the outside of the store. That's where all of your produce, meats, and such are. You always want to try and eat fresh foods over processed foods.
Aldi is actually rebranding and remodeling their stores. I didn't know that they remodeled the store I usually go to. I know that 1 of the 4 stores in Louisville is being remodeled. Which is awesome!!
I went into the store wanting to get mainly fruits and vegetables, which I did. Mom win!! :)
I splurged and got spray extra virgin olive oil, q-tips, and sun tan lotion. That's about $15.00 extra. I spent $76 dollars. If I went to Meijer's I feel like I would spend $100 or more because I usually do... I couldn't get this all at Target, which could be a good thing... HA!
Once you've got rung up, make sure you've brought your reusable bags. They have ones that you can buy there that are super big. They also have counter space so you can load your groceries into your bags.
Once you've put your bags into your vehicle you return your cart and you get your quarter back.
I'm for sure going to be shopping at Aldi a lot more now!!!
